There are reasons attached to someone who in the right understanding knows he or she is wrong but finds it hard to apologize.
*It could be because they felt you would always use that against them anytime things go wrong.
*It could be because you hardly forgive or take apology whenever they accept their wrongs.
*It could be because they felt you would show attitudes of feeling yourself, proud and feeling too perfect. Or
*Because they feel too special to apologize.
Whichever reason it may be, we all have this ego that stops us from apologizing. Most times we only humble ourselves to tender an apology out of the love we have or due to some things we might loose if we don't but hate when someone make us feel they are too perfect to make the mistake we made.
Most times our instinct tells us we are wrong. It disturbs us to tender an apology but Ego stops us from it. This ego is caused by the above reasons. We hate to tender apology to someone that could make us feel they are too perfect to make mistakes. We are all slaves to mistake. No one is above correction. Always have this in mind.
Whenever your partner offends you, there are ways you could calm their emotions and trigger their wish to accept their wrong and apologize. You don't go yelling at them, throwing insulting words or making them look stupid. Don't make them apologize and at the same time make them feel bad for doing it.
Never make your partner regret over accepting their wrongs.
Instead, pamper them, make them feel you can both be wrong, make them feel you aren't perfect either, give them good reasons to always tell you what they have done wrong even before your notice because they believe you would always accept their apology with ease and not go a day without talking to them or use that against them in the future. How you react to your partner after their apology goes a long way. Don't because they accepted their wrong and apologize you should use that as an advantage to insult them, ignore them or even go around talking shit about their wrongs to your friends or family. No relationship is rossy. You will always encounter difficulties in terms of misunderstandings. How you manage it matters a lot. Always make sure your partner feel safe with you and around you.
There are a lot you could do to your relationship for it success or failure. It all begins with you‼...✍
