Your Kind Of Choice Is What Delays Gods' Will!!!

Make sure your choice of person is in line with Gods' will.

Check what you choses as your choice if you haven't got it right. 

James 4:3 tells us that:
"We ask and receive not, because we ask amiss, TO SQUANDER IT ON OUR LUST"

You See, God is not obligated to and will not service our lust, never!
So what is lust really?
Lust is everything we desire at the expense of God's glory. It is often earthly, sensual or demonic. I will give you clear examples.
A lady sees many romance movies and winds up with an inordinate desire to be moved only by a certain kind of man based on ideas she has become indoctrinated with. This kind of person struggles to like anything other than what she has become fixated on from movies. So that in most cases, even when God sends a spouse, their mind is already so fixed on what Hollywood or Bollywood, perhaps Nollywood has imprinted and she cannot see past it.
The same goes for men either from movies or whatever the source.


You see, some people are also fixated on the kind of man or woman their friend married, shackled in competition and comparison and rejecting everything and everyone that doesn't seem to make them win the competition.
Some people are also lost in the lust for things and view everything and everyone based on what they wear, own or can produce. This person is controlled by the material world and blind to spiritual reality.
In the end, any desire that cannot be subjected to prayer, inquiry from God and submission by praying "not my will Lord but your will... Lead me Lord and I will follow" is a lust.
Remember Jesus desired that the cup is passed over Him but hey, it was God's will that He drinks it. Lust will never accept this, it will have it's way without regard for God.
Am I saying God will always hurt us with His direction? No, never but I assure you, His ways and direction will very often hurt our lust!

So, it is important to align our desires to be like His by letting His word influence us and His Spirit direct us. This way, when He leads us, we would be at peace with His direction.
